Our PACT sessions are held quarterly: The children's interest and preferences drive activities with parents following the lead. Staff members help parents learn how to support their children's learning through interaction with each other in meaningful activities, including play. These opportunities offer parents and children a chance to become true partners in education. At the end of the session, a literacy-focused large group activity will provide ideas for transferring learning to the home and brings closure to the session.
The Nurturing Parents Program's "Parenting the Nurturing Way Curriculum" will be offered. This session is mandatory for STP Parents, and other parents are welcome to attend voluntarily. To conclude the session, a large, literacy-focused group activity will offer ideas for applying the learned concepts at home.
3) Parent Conferences:
Conferences for Birth-K4 Programs are held quarterly. For Georgia Pre-K programs, conferences are held twice annually. Parents are also welcome to schedule additional conferences throughout the school year as needed.
